MOUNTED NO-TILL SEED DRILL
The MDSX has been designed to offer all the benefits of our DSX technology in a lighter and more compact platform. The fully mounted MDSX utilizes the same seeding coulter as the DSX and will work in conjunction with the Horizon FT2200 front hopper or a customer’s existing front hopper.

Frame Options
The MDSX can be configured with a range of working widths, row spacings, optional extras, granular hoppers and even frame mounted liquid tanks. This allows Farmers to create a completely custom seeding system to suit their needs.
Weight distribution kit.
The MDSX weight distribution kit allows the operator to transfer weight from the tractor to the MDSX row units at any time.
When needed, any weight between 0-800kg can be transferred from the tractor cab, only when the operator needs it. This option eliminates the need for wing weights, however they are still available.
Optional 400kg* wing weight kit.

FT2200
GH400
The MDSX can be configured with an FT2200 Front Tank or/and a GH400 as options. Both of these are well suited to the MDSX, as they are pressurized and feature the same metering system found on our trailed DSX.
The FT2200 features a 60/40 split hopper with two metering systems, meaning that two different products can be sown by the MDSX.
Our metering systems feature interchangeable rollers that enable a wide variety of application rates and products.
Liquid Nutrition
A 750L rear mounted liquid tank is available for the MDSX, with application of liquid products with the seed possible thanks to a stainless steel tube mounted to the row unit seed boot.
In addition to the frame mounted tank, Horizon also offer front mounted liquid tanks. Our tanks come complete with electric or hydraulic pumps, pipework, Wilger flow indicators and tablet-based control systems, ready for installation.
