Role Profile

Title: Management Accountant (AAT Qualified – CIMA Studier)

Line Manager: Head of Finance

Location: Horizon Agricultural Machinery Ltd, Cliftons Bridge, Fishergate, Sutton St James, Lincolnshire PE6 8TH

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (DOE)

Fulltime - Onsite position

Key Responsibilities:

• Aid the Head of Finance to prepare and analyse monthly management accounts

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis as required

• Support month-end close processes

• Maintain and improve financial reporting systems and reconciliation processes

• Involvement with product costing and pricing reviews

• Collaborate with Head of Finance to produce insightful financial reports

• Support year end accounts prep and liaise with external accountants

• Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and controls helping with ISO-9001 accreditation

Ideal Candidate:

• AAT qualified or degree level candidate currently studying towards CIMA or ACCA

• Previous experience in a management and financial accounting role preferably within a manufacturing / engineering business.

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever evolving environment
